International Market Entry Program, 2002

Sponsored by the NJ SBDC, US SBA and US DOC

If your business has a product or service ready for export, but doesn't have international trade experience, the International Market Entry Program, 2002 can help. It will teach your firm how to enter the global marketplace, including Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean Basin, Asian countries and the European Union.

In a 7-session course taking place over ten weeks, from May 9 - June 27, 2002. Discussion topics will include:

  • Marketing, sales and distribution
  • Financing and banking
  • Legal aspects of international trade
  • Pricing
  • Transportation and shipping
  • How to participate in a trade mission

The International Market Entry Program, 2002 is jointly sponsored and produced by the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (NJ SBDC), The US Department of Commerce Export Assistance Center, and the United States Small Business Administration [contact], . The first of seven sessions begins Wednesday, December 6, 2000 at 10 a.m. in Newark, NJ, and the 14-week program concludes on Wednesday, March 7, 2001.
